This mix of a class combines both fast and slow movements for an invigorating but relaxing class. It starts with a dynamic sequence: opening up the body and warming the muscles up through hatha flow and eventually leads into a slower rhythm where the postures are held between 2-5 minutes at a time. The best of both worlds meet here in this uplifting class, as it’s not only your body that’s balanced but your mind and spirit as well! Accessible to all three levels.
A great complement to any active practice! A restorative approach to yoga with long, meditative holds (postures are held between 3-5 minutes) intended to delve into the deep connective tissues (fascia) of the body, not the muscles. All poses are seated or reclined. Yoga props such as blocks, bolsters and straps may also be integrated during this practice. Yin stimulates the flow of vital energy (prana) in the tissues around the joints, where energy tends to stagnate. Serves to releasing stress and tension throughout the entire body, creating structural and mental balance. Accessible to all levels.
This yoga flow session incorporates the use of Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls. You will be guided through a practice designed to help reclaim your body through massage and a class specifically sequenced to help correct posture misalignment, encourage optimal muscle function and improved body awareness. Accessible to all levels.
Restorative yoga helps us learn to rest deeply and completely allowing the body, mind, and spirit to learn the ART of relaxation. A typical class involves only five or six poses, supported by such props as blocks, blankets, bolsters, the wall, eye pillows and more, that allow you to completely relax and rest in order to restore the body and mind. Held anywhere between 5 and 20 minutes, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Accessible to all levels.
